Read about Julianna’s experience:
In 2016, Julianna interned at South Carolina Legal Services (“SCLS”) in Greenville, South Carolina. SCLS represents any individual below 150% of the federal poverty level (generally $30,000 and below depending on family size) in legal matters within their priorities. Some of those priorities include helping domestic violence victims obtain justice, child custody cases, adoptions, landlord/tenant cases, immigration petitions, birth certificate and identification petitions, employment discrimination cases, health insurance issues, bankruptcy, and other areas where an injustice has been done and must be remedied.
