My name is Mikaela Orr, and I am a rising second-year law student. I have moved from Arizona to pursue my calling as a future lawyer. In undergrad, I pursued a degree in political science, focusing on bible classes and communication classes. Additionally, I took a Constitutional Law class, which sparked my interest in law in the first place. I participated in the honors program in undergrad and joined multiple clubs, including the pre-law club and the press club. I have always been a people-first person, making the connections and trying to solve problems. I hate seeing suffering and I have a strong desire to help as much as I can. For that, I thank my relationship with God, as being a Christian has been fundamental to my studies. In addition to joining a Christian law school, I got my undergrad at a Christian school as well. Furthermore, I got a summer internship at Jubilee, an organization focused on religious liberty for all, with an emphasis on Christians as well.

When I’m not in school or studying, I love hanging out with friends, running, doing a creative hobby like writing, or reading. I try to make sure to have a good work/life balance, as its really important to me to be able to do excellently, and I can only do that if I have had proper rest. With each new adventure comes many great things! I look forward to what is in store for me.
