Read about Sarah’s experience:
My name is Sarah Leiford, and I am the middle child of five children and the first person in my immediate family to attend both graduate school and law school. Everyone in my family is a redhead (including any dogs we’ve had!). I grew up in a cabin in the woods in western Pennsylvania and am grateful to still call that cabin home. I was a homeschool kid who spent most of her free time reading books, and nowadays I am a law student who still spends most of her time reading books (although not always the most interesting ones). My expanded hobby repertoire includes hiking, writing, collecting Classical literature and vinyls, and finishing every recipe in a cookbook. I’m also on a mission to find out long I can go without repeating a recipe more than twice. Most of all, I love to be outside: even when it rains, rest assured that I am watching it come down from under a porch somewhere with a coffee mug in hand. My life goals are to visit all the national parks in the United States, hike the Appalachian Trail, and perhaps publish a book of my own. Currently, however, I’m working on accomplishing my career goal of becoming a lawyer.
