Cheyenne Johnson is a rising third-year Juris Doctor candidate at Regent University School of Law. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Randolph-Macon College. She currently serves as a clerk at the Center for Global Justice, where she supports the Center’s human rights advocacy initiatives with a primary focus on anti-human trafficking and child protection projects. She has conducted extensive legal research and drafting for a collaborative project with the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE).
As a first-generation college graduate, Cheyenne is deeply committed to advocating for justice on behalf of vulnerable populations. Her professional experience providing white-collar litigation support and conducting complex criminal investigations has equipped her with strong research, analytical, and organizational skills. Through her work as a deputy clerk in general district court and as a case manager in a digital forensics firm, she also brings practical insight from courtroom operations and case preparation that directly enhances her contributions to anti-human trafficking advocacy.
Guided by Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” Cheyenne approaches her legal career with unwavering dedication and purpose.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with her Maltese and bloodhound.
She is eager to continue supporting the vital mission of the Center for Global Justice and NCOSE through her work and advocacy.
