Sherri spent the summer interning remotely with Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center. Las Americas provides pro-bono legal services for immigrants in West Texas. Sherri assisted Las Americas by working with immigrants on their legal proceedings. She specifically was able to work with a few immigrants who were trafficked into the United States.
