Michaela interned for the Jerusalem Institute of Justice (JIJ) in Jerusalem, Israel. JIJ is an NGO that fights for human rights in the Middle East, especially in Israel and the Palestinian territories. Michaela had the opportunity to work on a couple different projects while also assisting other interns in their projects. Her main research project involved conducting legal research and analysis relating to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
